hiding spots?

I know that the Audi A4's have a secret hiding spot behind the glovebox that you can get to by releasing two latches that hold the glovebox in place. Is there anything similar, or any other secret hiding spot in the TL just in case we get pulled over for those certain things....haha

well, theoretically that little tray in the dash is a hiding spot. the credit card holder part isnt visible unless you actually pull the whole tray out.

i wouldnt trust it for hiding "certain" things though.

Dogs can sniff out anything. If they think you're hiding stuff, they can legally tear your car apart.

you know that little slot above the radio that slides out? if you pull it all the way out, behind the little indentation is a compartment that flips open. its designed to hold credit cards.

As others have said...dogs can sniff out anything. But...if you must, A good hiding spot would be underneath the rear seats. You can pop that sucker off with no tools required. It's a good place to keep uh...."self defense weapons" if you cut out the foam underneath.

Ah yest the hiding spots...Open your Moon Roof main panel. There is a little room towards the front for small items. I've been considering using the spot to put a neon light in. It would be completely out of view.

Ryan,

Us '99 TLers dont have it. In '02 when they put the 6 disc changer in, they needed the extra room so they took out the CD holder and put in a cute little stationary/pen/business card holder.

if you look at the little triangular vent on the corner of the dashboard... that pops out for just enough room to hide some little stuff lol

Hiding spots

Your cup holder is removable. Just pinch the plastic between the two cup holders with your fingers, wiggle the cup holder around a bit, and it will come out. There's a compartment under there good for hiding "things"... like a stash or a dugout.

in front of the shifter, under the radio, between the seat warmer switches is a little holder of some sort. the plastic piece standing vertically can be popped out by pulling on it from the top. hard to describe, but works really well

To pull out the rear seat, u just gotta lift up the front edge of it, closest to the front seats, it just pops in place there, and there is one 10mm screw between the driver side rear seat and middle seat, kinda gotta pull seat belt fasteners outta the way, and unscrew that, then out it comes!

what are you trying to hide, for dank i agree the cup holder was the easiest, for a gun use you tail-light compartment by popping off the knob on the left or right side but it's gonna be some time before you can get it out...

Hiding is not a viable option as NSXNEXT said, since you could get the unlucky draw of being pulled over by a K-9 unit. It's over at that point.

We dont wanna know....
i know, but it's sad that we have so many *****es in this world that wanna act hard and can't back it up, even if you could there isn't a need to be a **** to people, sorry to seem hostle, two jits in a avenger just flicked me off for no reason and when i follow them and find out why they did that, they wanna back off...
Idiots...

last week, i'm helping my friend move in and a car pulls up slow, three deep wanna yell out *****, so naturally i told them to shut the F*** up, they wanna roll back, i go to my trunk and my friends come out of the apt to see wuts up, then they wanna say oh they're just waiting...

granted i should listen to my friends and let things slide, but...nevermind i should just let things slide.

one advice to the author of this thread, don't carry things in your car, if you got dank, smoke it up, no point in just letting it sit there, over 20 grams is selling, if you under 18 your lucky, a gun, trust me, you'll pull on people over anything, it's 10-20-life over here, for possesion it's a slap on the wrist but you'll have a dectective on your a$$ for a good couple months, if you ever get caught, remember cops are never your friend, all they'll do is lie to you, just don't say $hit, and call a lawyer, or just don't carry anything in your car, oh and if they find a gun in your car, they car take your car, so do what you can to keep your car...

I don't think you have a credit holder in the 99 TL.
