Fog lamp condensation
Fog lamp condensation
My 2003 TL-S has a problem with condensation build up in the fog lamps. I just took th e car in for a touch free car wash and noticed the inside of the housings wet. What can i do to prevent this? HELP A BROTHER UP!
yo i got it 2 a few weeks ago i had hids installed amke sure the wires and bulbs are in tight and all the screws are tight any air will cause condinsation.....too get rid of it run the lights constintley for a few days the heat from the bulbs will dry it up....
I have a 2003 TL-P and it just rained several hours ago. I also noticed a little condensation in my fog lamps as well. The size of the build up is a little smaller than the size of a dime. The condensation was near the edge of the fog lamp on the clear plastic housing, not the reflectors. How big is your build-up?
I doubt you can ever have a completely sealed head lamp. I wount worry about it too much. Once you turn on the lights, nothing should be able to withstand the heat that the fogs give out. Now if you have water in the HID lamp..then that's a problem.
