HID went out, what is the problem? Helpppppppp

a couple days back it rained pretty hard, on the way home my passenger side HID started to burn purplish/pink, then later that night it went to blue. yesterday when i got out of work i turned on my lights and the HID just went out. there is condensation in the housing, could this be causing the problem as well?

is it the ballast or bulb that went out? anyone else have this problem?

Odds are the moisture helped cause the bulb to go out. to make sure swap bulbs from the good side to the bad to see. If the bulb lights up on the bad side its just the bulb and you need to buy 2 new bulbs. If you look in the DIY thread i posted a how to just the other day.

You will also want to take the headlight out and reseal it to help eliminate that problem from happening again.

Contact our vendor Excelerate for new bulbs.
