Look at this, so sad. This post has been out for a few days now and only 5 Chicagoans representin'. No wonder I rarely see fellow TL-Sers on the road. The only ones I usually see are TL-Ps driven by old ladies with big hair.

I have the Hella/Osram 7000K HID conversion on my 1st Gen TL and have had no problems with people trying to rip me off. Of course, that is probably because everyone knows the 1st Gen TL's didn't come with HID's stock.
