I think they should not be worried about HID lights blinding people, they should worry about the a$$holes who drive with their brights on, and ESPECIALLY the idiots who don't have their lights aimed properly, where one is high, and one is low! I observed this on my way home tonight. In the 35 minutes I was driving, AT LEAST a dozen cars got behind me with improperly aimed headlights, and If I didn't have the auto dimming rear view mirror, I would be cursing like a b!tch(I was, but not as loud) because it's blinding the heck outta me!!

WHAT COLOR ARE YOUR HIDs cause mine look plain white.. my TL is like 3 hours old. is it a new thing ? cause i like the purple ones better .

Well, at first when you turn them on, they are very blue.. but within 15 seconds, they change color and get a lot more white, and brighter! My Lights are white, with a hint of blue.

haha, 3 hours old...welcome to the board btw. The hids in our cars are more white than they are blue. BMWs for example have alot of blueness in em, while ours are white. I remember reading other peoples opinions an many say the TLs lights are better at night. I duno, I forget...

Actually the further away from the TL u get the more purple it gets. Go out side and stand far away it looks hella purple. Up close it looks bright white white. I always notice a Tl when its coming my way, always see purple.

it's really obvious to see a car with HID's at night, it's way too noticeable.
and yeah, those pickups with their headlights way up high in the air are the ones that should be changed. nothing wrong with the color of the head light... the most serious problem is the angle and the height... and those ppl with their high beam on all the time because they can't see with the low beams... don't know what those ppl are thinking...
