Post HID headlights

Hi, I own a 1992 acura legend. I was just curious if you can see really good with your factory HID's? Do you feel like you can see anything ahead of you? I guess someone describe it for me. I saw in the Jacksonville paper the other day that they have 00' TL's for $299 a month, with $999 down, and it is a 68 month lease. I am thinking about getting one.

the HID lights KICKASS!! I was driving home today from my friend's house and it was dark as hell.. the HIDs lit the road beautifully!

They highlight the the reflective things on the road and signs really well. I feel that the spread of light and distance is so much better than regular halogens..

As far as your lease, I have not leased before but $300/month for 68 months seems kinda hight to me..

I love the hids they are great especially on very dark roads they just light up the night. but I would pass on the 68 month lease thats almost 5 1/2 years with a little more down you can buy and own it. If you have to lease I think you should look for something that is not going to tie you up for so long. you should check around for 36 month lease.68 months and you dont even own it after is a waste of money

btw love the hids

just my 2 cents

I love it when I drive to my sister house in the dark or come back. Cars will past by me flying & Iam doing a little above the speed limit. When they get out of the city limits & the road turns really dark they slow way down. This is even cars with there Fog/Driving lights on. I catch up to them & go flying by with my HID lights that are on my 00TL. The lights light up the road & signs so much better. I rank this feature as one of the top things I like about my car. When you drive down a dark country road you will love a car with HID lights.

Ya, that's an idea. Never buy without HID, that's right. HID kicks ass.

Yup, when I drive a car w/o HID's, the road just doesn't look the same. BIG difference.

68 months? That's rediculous.

HIDs are awesome. I estimate its output must be at least 40% greater than conventional halogens. Makes foglight/driving lights obsolete except for looks. Good thing with the TL is that it is standard equipment unlike Lexus, Mercedes.
