hid bulb replacement to higher kelvin HELP

theres a lot of 6000k and 8000k replacement bulbs on ebay for very cheap (like less than $20). will these work or do i need to buy something like philips or kaixen to get them to work?

Got mine from Ebay, it's working fine with the factory ballast

Need to be D2R or D2C bulb base. Be wary, you get what you pay for.

what he said.. i know the cheap ones look tempting, but personally, i would just pay the extra and know im in good shape.

5000k is a nice white with blue tint- 6000 are more blue with a white tint and are good for seeing road markings and signs.
I spent $150 with Excelerate for the Kaixens and am very happy with them.

The Kaixen 6000K is hot! I only got one replace so far, lol. I'll do the driver side next week. Really a pain...

You get what you pay for! Don't be cheap, get some good bulbs.

I have kaixens, those are the best way to go. Tried cheap ones they look nice but dont light up the road as well. My 8500k kaixen light up the road ALOT better then 6000k generic ebay ones.

i have 5k kiaxens, a touch bluer then stock but crisp.
