Hey Ron (StreetEffectz)

is this the switch that I need for my DVD/NAV kit? (see attached pic)

If so, can we setup a time to get it installed?

I only needed one right? I can get 2 more if you need them but they're expensive so I didn't yet ($33 each).

Hey, I have several 4PDT switches that I could send First Class Mail to you for $11 plus $1 shipping, if you can take yours back Paypal me if you want at kensteele@enotify.com.

Edit: Changed the price to more accurately reflect actual shipping charges (no need to unjustly enrich the USPS)

Ken:

do you know if only one is needed for the DVD on NAV kit?

I'll definitely take one from you, what's your paypal address to get you the money?

Thanks, it saves me like $22 just for the switch

Yes, that is all that's needed to switch back and forth on the Navi you either get Maps or Movies. You can verify with Steve's instructions

My paypal address is kensteele@enotify.com; thanks.

You could also use a regular SPDT switch at radio shack (cost a couple of bucks). You would also need a 4PDT relay and socket.

thanks, I'm going to stick with what Ron told me to look for though, I just didn't have exact specs of it so I posted here.

Thanks KenSteele for the hookup on the switch. I'm going to return the one I bought and use that one. Saves me around $20...

isn't this board great?

You all realize that those switches are like $4 each right? I don't know where you are buying them from, but if you want to pay me a 600% markup for each switch i'll send them out as well

hey, I've waited literally WEEKS for the switches, If I have to pay a lot, then it's completely worth it at this point. They are VERY hard to find (around here anyway).

After you pay for shipping and you comply with their minimum order charge (something like $25), you are better off getting them from me because I won't rip you off by forcing you to buy a minimum quantity. I take Paypal (convenient) and I ship USPS Priority Mail the same day. Isn't that worth the extra $$$? Even though I'm not a business.

I ended up purchasing about 5 of them (from the Company mentioned above) just to get 1 since 4pdt was so hard to find. Individually that company would probably sell them for $11, too. If you want them for $4, buy the remaining 3 from me plus $4 shipping and they are yours. Individually they are $11 + $1.

600% markup...what math are you using? $4. vs. $11 is less than 300%.

he's using the fact that I paid around $33 for what appeared to be the only 4PDT switch in the tri-state ares.
