My wife drives our 99TL w/130K on it. SHe recently complained that the car would stall immediately after starting, and then once it started the rpms would surge up and down.

I searched the board and it seemed that it was IACV, which I ordered and installed. A few weeks have passed and now she says the car is hesitating a little.

Any suggestions??

Did the check engine light come on?
It could be a lot of reasons. When was the last time did you take you car for tune up? The spark plugs need to be checked, the fuel system needs to be inspected, and may be the throttle body needs to be cleaned.

Just a thought.

 

When was the last time you changed/ or had the plugs changed? Any fuel treatment or cleaners ever used? might be a good time for the if not

when was the last time u changed ya ATF? cause when mine starts hesitating i change the ATF and it feels better.
