Unhappy Help, what should I do?

My driver side front window was broken in a few months ago. I think that A$$hole used some sort of tool to do that and damaged the
upper frame of the window a little bit. Initially I though the black frame is just a piece of plastic, so didnt' care it much. However, I found it became rusty yesterday.
I got a few questions
(1) Is this under warranty?
(2) Can the frame be replaced separately, or it only comes with the whole door?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Take it to a body shop if the frame of the door is messed up..they would probably cover it under insurance..

Did you initially claim insurance for the busted window? Insurance may cover it as Shoofin' said. But I do believe our cars have a rust warranty. You might want to call the dealer for details.

But I think there will be no warranty if somebody actually broke it...

I did not claim it to the insurance company since minimum reductable it $500. If I want to have it fixed, should I go to the dealer or a body shop? I'm currently working in Baltsville, MD. Can somebody recommand a good body shop nearby? Thanks!!
