coincidence?
TLs have had probs w/ the SRS light coming on. mine came on a few months ago and i had to take it to the dealer so they could replace a sensor in the seat belt that was defective. apparently there was a recall for it in the US. so couldve jus been a coincidence that the light came on after installing ur gauges. the problem may not have anything to do w/ ur gauges at all.

This is not the same problem because he has changed gauges. You need to reset your SRS memory. Look in the helm manual for SRS memory reset or take it to the dealer for them to reset your memory.

I've changed my gauges plenty of time and not had the light come on. However, it did come on once after I changed them, so go figure. The dealer will reset it for free... but how do you do it yourself? Anyone? TIA!

To rest your srs memory you have to jumper the connector for the srs which is under the dash drivers side. Pretty easy to do.
I had to do it when I installed my wood wheel.

I have the same problem. SRS light came on. Sorta glad that I'm not the only person with the same problem. I'll take it in to the dealer and ask them to reset it along with complaining about my warped rotors.
I fixed my stuck needle problems! Taking that dash off is a pain in the ass! My hands are all cut up.

When you brought to the dealer, please don't say that it light up because of that or else they will charge you. Just play dumb with them and say you don't know why it light up. Hope this help.

The reason the light came on was because you turned on the ignition while the gauges were out.......
This is a feature that tries to help and notice I said tries to help against odometer fraud....
Next time don't turn the ignition on while the gauges are unplugged
