Check to see that the lights actually light up. You may have gotten bulbs of too low a wattage (too much resistance), or the bulbs may not be sitting properly in its socket.

Are you sure it's blinking faster than normal???
Is the clicking sound faster too inside the car??
What about Hazards? Turn them on, get out of the car and check it... hey come to the meet this Saturday and we'll take a look at it for you.

You must of put the bulbs in the wrong way. Did you try to force the bulb in? It should go in very easily, if not you need to align the bulb again so that it will easily twist in. Just rotate the bulb. It happened to me.

You put in the bulbs the wrong way. I was putting in my m-12's and noticed my left blinker ticked really fast. I went outside to check and it was on all the time. So I took the bulb out and flipped it around and put it back in and it worked.
