Post Help?! Screwed up installation of CT springs.

O.k. I got my springs installed yesterday by someone that I thought knew what they were doing. When I stop and even at slow rolling speeds there is a slight thump on I think all four corners. What is wrong? It is really annoying and I'm taking my car back today. But I want to know what he did wrong before he give me some bull. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Not a friend, but an associate. He did all the work on last car (Civic) and did a great job. But I am extremely pissed right now because something is not right. I take it back to him at 9a.m.

did you see him do it. Did he have to take out the rear seats? Good Luck.

He did take out the rear seats, but I didn't watch him do the whole car.

Make sure he install the springs in the right spot. There is like a tag that's tells you if this spring is for the front left or rear left... etc. Does he do alignments also?

No he doesn't do alignments. I will verify that he did adhere to the tags on the springs. If he didn't he really is an idiot!

I took him for a test drive so he could hear it (raced a black RSX too!) he heard the noise and is checking it out now. He said he would take them all off and re-install. We'll see!

O.k. he said two of the springs weren't turned completely so he adjusted it. I'm going to pick it up now, I'll let you know if everything is cool.

I purchased the springs from my sister (she sells performance parts) for $234 +$15 s/h. He charged $100 to install and the drop is beautiful. I love it. I was very reluctant because I thought I was going to lose that smooth ride but I didn't. Not as floaty/cushiony, but still very smooth and tight handling. I get my kit put on Friday so I can't wait to see it compliment the drop. Do it, you won't regret it!

http://www.comptechusa.com/instructions/ins027.pdf

comptech tells you to leave the isolators on to elimanate any undiserable noises. maybe the guy took them out

I had my comptech springs with stock shocks for more than a year and a half. No problems at all. *knock on wood* The ride is still comfy and handling is better than ever.
