Post Help with my suspension guys....

OK, heres my dilemma. I have a 2000, I have 17" rims with 215/45's. I just put the neuspeed lowering springs on. Now, even with the fenders rolled it rubs like a bastard. So Im thinking a few things, return to stock( ), try comptech adjustable shocks with the neuspeed springs or buy comptech springs, or lastly change the tires to 205 series which will probably look gay (I dont know if they even make 205 17's? What should I do?? Does anyone know how much the comptechs lower, and what size tires are you guys riding and do they rub?? i cant STAND rubbing. Thanks alot.

If you had to roll your fenders then your wheels are the wrong size. Please look in the Tire & Wheel Forum. There are lots of topics about wheels not fitting properly and it's probably the offset. Read thru till you get your answer. Sorry and welcome to the board.

You need wheels with a higher offset! Don't go with the 205's. Your tires are already shorter than the stock.

I have 215/45/17x7 Falken tires on my rims. I also have the Apexi Coilovers with a 3" drop. Yes it does rub a little if I take a corner hard or have a few passengers. But if it is just me driving, I don't have any rubbing, go figure.

Definitly sounds like an offset problem. Many people here have taller tires and bigger drops and no rubbing. TL Daddy is running 225/45/18! and no rubbing but i think he has a 52 offset. I have Comptech drop with stock tires and no problems.
