Help me decide which wheels to keep...PLEASE!

Hey guys,
I need your help in deciding which wheels to keep for my car. I had the 03 CL Type-S wheels in chrome on my car previously. I now have 17" RonJon Servos on the car. I love these Servos, they are really nice wheels. However, I find that I'm really missing my chrome wheels. I'm going to post a few pics and if everyone could chime in and let me know what you think I'd really appreciate it.

A few more things:
-I know my car needs to be lowered...I'm going to be ordering the Tein H Tech
springs for my baby real soon!

-I will not be purchasing any other wheels...please don't tell me to order some
18's or something like that, I just can't afford it.

Dude- that is one SICK AZZ ride....seriously....i'd def keep the RonJons....for some reason the CLS rims look like 16s.....dunno why. The Servos look hot....i gots one question tho.....how are those SUMIs in that size? ....i just bought the same tires in stock size.......any problems with going that wide (235)? i'm planning on getting that size next time. so did you switch to falken tires with the RonJons? good luck, sweet ride. -shawn

If you said that you miss your chrome rims then why didn't you get the servos in chrome? Does it come in chrome?

so tell us why you disrupted the flow and voted for the chrome CLS rims......is that your opinion or a vote that surfaces from your question?

Thanks for the compliments Shawn, I appreciate that. As far as the Sumitomo's are concerned, they were great. If you still have the stock TL-S wheels I wouldn't recommend going that wide though. The CL-S wheels are .5" wider. The 235/45/17 tires are still too wide for that wheel, but I never had a problem with them. I decided to get the Falken's this time because I've heard a lot of good things about them and they are about 3 lbs lighter per tire than the Sumitomos.

I didn't get chrome for a few reasons. For one, the non-chrome are a little bit lighter (not much, like 1 pound or something) and they were a few hundred bucks more expensive. I also just wanted to try something different.

Get the 19 x 7.5 RonJons but the other style. Drop it and you'll have the nicest looking SSM TL-S's...

The Servos are actually beautiful rims. I think the pictures I took don't really do them justice. I sold my TL-S wheels after I got the chrome CL-S wheels. I had about 4k miles on them and wound up getting $980 for them.

I think 235/45/17 tires and a drop would seal the deal. silver on silver owns.

It's funny, on my email I read your post and it said the cl-s chrome wheels look nasty!! Then I checked here and you edited your post. I appreciate that, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I personally think the CL-S wheels in chrome are really nice looking. I always got tons of compliments on them.

yea, i put nasty and edited it because i wanted to add out of place and then figured i would take off the nasty part as to not offend anyone.

some people are very sensitive on here. better safe than sorry.

If you must keep some wheels, keep the CL-S wheels. What happened your stock TL-S wheels? I would sell both sets and buy some 18" in a mesh style and lower the car. To each his own.

I would say keep keep the CL-S wheels. I have the chrome OEM TL Type S wheels and I love chrome! I just wish they were wider like the Ron Jons.

I say, keep the CL-s wheels, makes your car look unique, but then again the Ron Jons make it look good to. Another plan, sell your Ron Jons, make some good cash off them and then use that money to buy some H&R sports to drop it down. There you go, done.

personally i think the silver combo is killer, chrome is for colored cars, or black cars. Both wheels do look good, but those huge 225/50/17 tires just make the whole thing look weird. See how the chrome wheels tires look decent and proportioned? so once again, 235/45/17 or the OEM 215/50/17 would look good with an H&R drop, see:

Did you alter the tires when you chopped it? Could you do a chop using that same picture and don't do anything with the tires. Also, could you possibly drop it a little less? I'm probably getting the Tein H-Tech springs put on and they drop the car approx. 1.5" in front and 1" in the rear. Thanks Rondy. Also, these wheels are awesome, don't get me wrong. I'm just not sure that I personally like them better than my old wheels. If you don't mind dropping the first pic with the CL-S chromies on it that would be great too!!

Wow, now there's a link full of some ugly wheels. Thanks for trying to help out, but the only wheel that even remotely interested me was the Atix-5 in chrome. Too bad they don't have any info on their website. I don't understand why wheel manufacturers would have a website and not give all the pertinent info on the site. I'm sure that most wheel buyers would like to know what bolt patterns wheels come in, offset, weight etc.

theres a reason they don't put the info on the site, cause they don't fit without rubbing or hubcentrically. I'll post a pic later today of what you asked for...
