Which spring should i choose??? need help!!

1. Comptech
2. Eibach
3. H&R
4. Neuspeed

currently i'm offered $280 for comptech springs + $80 for labor
total to $360

as for Neuspeed it's $200 including labor.. it's on special now

why such a difference? is the quality in comptech better??

As for most of the folks in this forum, they would most likely recommend the comptech springs...

I have a friend that will do the install for only $60... he's a Honda/Acura Certified technician, and has all the tools needed for the job... including the spring compressor...

Let me know if you're interested... he just installed my comptech springs last weekend and they're great!

well, i bought mine used from socal28... so in your case, you'll just need to find the best price you can, and hit me up for the install...

jumpman: Ok i'll do that..

SO YOU ALL THINK THE COMPTECH IS THE BEST? how about ROAD FEEL? H&R or COMPTECH FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE? I DON't want the ride to be too harsh..yet..same time...get rid most of the gap...but NOT TOO LOW..

how low is 1.75 drop to our car? anyone have a pic to compare 1 inch, 1.5, 1.75 , 2 inch drop difference on the TL???

these are socal28's pics of his old TL... I bought the springs from him, so this is what the drop looks like w/ comptechs...

simple anwser.......NO one knows. plus if there is a difference other than price then it should be very minimal. I have H&R in my TL, drove a TL with comptechs.......the same. You are going to have to trust the company reputation. As for better quality and longer life, again NO one knows.. If there is someone on the board that has try:
1. Comptech
2. Eibach
3. H&R
4. Neuspeed
Please come forward and tell us which one is better.

no problems with h&r sports with speed bumps (of course i wouldn't take speed bumps at 35mph). nice tight fender over wheel. i've used h&r for the TL and my 95 supra, installed them on E36 BMW's, too many integras and civics to count...not one complaint and repeat customers when they get new or second buildup cars.

i honestly don't know why people seem to hold comptech in higher regard than other manufacturers. some say comptech specializes in acura/honda. they don't do any more testing and development than any other reputable company. and don't be surprised if they just contract out to eibach with comptech logo sleeving on their springs. instances of exhaust fitment problems that have been reported here and from what i've seen personally would be outrageous to any other manufacturers like HKS, Greddy, or Tanabe. just my opinion...
