Post help with KONI shocks

I want to purchase the shocks

Does anyone know what the part number is for the Koni shocks that fit the 2000 TL?

Also, my friend told me i only needed a camber kit for the front two wheels for my lowered TL. Is this true?

Thanks guys!

I don't know the part number but you can probably ask Snook. He sells them. Go check it out in the Price page.

Camber correction kit is required when you have negative camber that can not be corrected back to within factory spec. This depends on how much your lowered your car. Most ppl on this board have lowered their rides with Comptechs and they say they didn't have to use Camber kit.

get the shocks and camber kit for all four wheels. all four of my tires show uneven tread wear even after drop and alignment.

How low did you slam your ride?

I have coilovers and I think you would only need camber kits for the rear only.

Isn't that how much Comptechs drop too? If so, you might need camber correction kit. (According to Rice, you would.) From my experience, if your car is lowered more than an inch, you *usually* would need the corretion kit.
You should first go to an alignment shop and have them align your wheels back as close to the factory spec as possible. If it is determined that it can not be aligned back to within factory specs, then you should consider getting the kit.
Some ppl don't mind the neg camber cuz you can take those corners real fast... but if you don't want to invest too much $$ on your tires, then I'd recommend you to get camber correction kit too.
