HELP: Installing "INSPIRE" emblem...

Hey I am going to install the "INSPIRE" emblems this Sunday and wanted some tips on how to do the perfect installation. I would hate it if the "INSPIRE" lettering turned out crooked or not align, you know what I mean? So I want it to be as perfect as possible but dunno what's the best technique to do it, any suggestion? How did you guys measure the height and if it was centered? By the way... the "INSPIRE" lettering was a present of my great gf... hehehehe.

the kit should come with a foam template that you can use to align them before you stick them on

my letter came on a white paper algined already. all i did was put a piece of tape under the ACURA part, remove the ACURA and reinstall the INSPIRE.

of course it didnt turn out that way :o while i was removing the gunk left from the letters, i kept messing up the tape, so i removed it, eyeballed it and it looks great. i had a friend help me verify if it was straight or not, etc.

looks kicka$$.

run a strip of masking tape across the area (trunk), use a level to make sure the tape line is level. Then match up the letters to the level tape line. Then the rest is self explanitory, but , for thoes wearing helmets, attach your letters and peel the tape back for a perfecty level Badge.

Hope that helped

Umm...out of curiosity, why would you want to put "INSPIRE" on your TL?

being a machinest the best way to have something perfectly centered is to work off of a center line. measure the exact distance, say the width of your window. say that measurement is 60" the center line would be 30". now say your decal is 28"wide divide 28 by 2 that would be 14. now working from your 30" center line measure 14" to the right & 14" to the left. Thus your badge would now be pefectly centered.

I just finished installing my "INSPIRE" emblem and was wondering if I should keep the "3.2 TL Type-S" of remove it... any ideas? By the way, the emblem was almost perfectly positioned... perfectly centered but the right side seems a little higher, maybe by about 0.1 to 0.2 cm.
