Exclamation HelP! HID FOGS

Im installing my hid fogs but my passenger side does not want to work so i tested both ballast's on the drivers side and they both work but neither of them work on my passenger side. i connected the stock bulbs and they both work. can anyone diagnose the problem?

Make sure the connections are secure and make sure you are not clipping em the wrong way, if it doesn't work one way try and flip the clip and hook it the other way.

plug n play???

if the stock bulbs work.. they should work..

make sure the pins aren't bent or anything.. and connection is correct.. you could've probably connecte it one way on driver side but on pass side a different way..

I had the same problem, where one side would not light up even when I tested the bulbs and both were working. In the HID Kit that I bought, in the box there was an extra wire, that has 2 connectors. Plug one end to the ballast connector and the other end to the bulb end and that should solve your problem. When I SEARCHED the forum, someone had a similar issue, it had something to do with the ballast not being able to draw enough current to power the bulb, but with the extra regulator wire it did the trick. Hope that helps.

you need to reverse the polarity on the passenger side. i had to do this with my hid fogs - ran into the exaact same problems you have. flip the 9006 connector on the passenger side around and plug it in. once you do that, I'll bet you a steak dinner they both work properly.
