Help with "Fog Light Shield Deflector"!

Hi!!

I Have a Spare tube of RTV and I wanna see if I can Remove the Deflector Shield out of the Fog Light housing. I have a Couple of Questions about this.

1.- Can I remove the Glass with a Heat Gun instead of the Oven?
2.- How much Output would I Expect out of this if I Already Have HIDs?
Is it Worth The extra Glare?

Thanks for any Replys!!

1 - yes you can.. heatgun is always faster.. but make sure you distribute the heat evenly.

2 - look at my other threads.. i took off my glare shield and it literally lights the whole floor up at night. it's bright as hell too, you don't wanna stare at it. as for the glare.. you can only see it while looking head on.. from the side.. it's not too bad
