Help with B-pillars

I once saw in these forums a way to put vinyl coverings on the plastic parts of the b-pillars, but I can't find that post again. I have searched numerous times to no avail.

Like most everyone I know with a TL, those b-pillar coverings are starting to peel and look pathetic. I know an official vendor on here is selling some carbon fiber ones, but I am looking for something more OEM looking.

If anyone has any links, I would greatly appreciate it. Thx in advance.

well with the search feature down right now things are kind of hard to find. You can go to a sign shop and buy some vinyl and DIY. a few have done it with great results. you could also take them off and get them painted by a body shop in your area. it shouldnt cost to much at all. I am actually doing it this week.

Just buy some paint and do it yourself, very easy. I did mine a few weeks ago.

Do what I did, 150/220 grit to get the paint off (only go up and down), 400 grit up and down, 600 grit up and down, 1000 grit circular motion, then up and down, 2000 grit up and down, turtlewax polishing compound in circles, then up and down. use waterproof sandpaper or it'll get messy. from the side it shines, and it gives the b-pillar some character with the vertical lines. haha
