help with 01 tl problems:srs light

my srs light keeps coming on.i know i took it to the shop but they said i jsut need to reset it. tehy reset it and it was gone for couple weeks then came bak on.anyone know how to reset it?

Did you get the warranty extrension for the sensors and computer for the SRS system? I had the problem and they went in and replaced it all for free. So.. Yours might be on the way out. I hate to say it but do a search for resetting th SRS light. Its out there cause I did it.

If it keeps coming on after its reset there is a problem Take it in and have it fixed. When its on NONE of your airbags work

My '03 has same symptoms....There is a part that needs replaced which is on order. Service dude says to call ahead for a courtesy car, it takes a while to replace.

srs warranty

I spoke with Acura of America today (register change of owner) and was advised my VIN number is covered by the extended warranty for SRS. The coverage is 10 years 150,000 miles!

He said if the SRS light ever comes on, proceed to dealer for repair. The affected part controls the side airbags (and more I am sure)
