Hello from OH-IO

Hey all
I recently stumbled across this forum while doing some research about my car.
my name is randy and im currently a junior at the University of Toledo. I recently purchased my first acura! I've owned civics and sentras before and the TL is a way different animal lol.

pics

I am hoping to learn more about this car from this forum and maybe i can contribute also.

Thanks

Welcome! scroll thru the threads on this main page, and then the special sections of Problems, and Performance is the other good one
About 99% of your questions are already answered in those
at the bottem of main page after sign in- see threads for Wash and Wax and Black Market- where sponsors have new parts and members sell used parts

find the many `new owner` threads, and contact acura on the links provided there
get a free owner manual online thru acura.com
there are trick systems on the TL you want to know about before operating

Have you been to Toledo? J/K. Comparing Toledo to Ann Arbor is not even a worthwhile exercise because the imbalance is so great. Ann Arbor is a freaking amazing city.

Now, Detroit... I could get behind you on that.

I wasn't comparing the cities, just saying Ann Arbor Acura is silly business. I ended up having some warranty work done there when Dave White was booked up for a week. Long story short, there were some problems with the work and as it turns out, the mechanic who did the work had been uncertified for the past four years and was never certified to do the type of work that he performed on my car.

IMO, all you need to know is that the transmission sucks, but other than that, it's a great car.
