Yep, I am a newb to this forum and to owning an Acura. I have owned my 02 TL with Nav, silver, for one week. I have to say that I am very happy and it is more than I expected. We bought it for road trips that we make frequently. I just ordered a rear spoiler for it since I think that really sets it off. I will also get a K&N filter, and Silverstar headlight and fog light bulbs for it as well.
Any other suggestions on mods would be appreciated. Remember, I own a Ford Lightning, so I dont want to hot rod this one, I want it to last for another 200k miles.. it has 49k miles on it now.. I got it for a great price so I cant complain about that. The prior owner said he had zero problems with it and the tranny is covered for another 50k miles... I am hoping that since it has made it this far, that my tranny will be a good one...
Thanks
Dana

WELCOME! Congrats on your TL. Is it a TL-S?
NICE TRUCK!
Good start with the lights. Wheels always make a car look classier but the tires will probably wear down pretty quick your going on all those road trips. The body kit definitely turns the TL into a sportier looking car so I recommend looking in to that.

I have a TL
and it is one of the nicest cars I have ever driven. As a frequent traveler in the past, I have driven a lot of cars.
Thankfully, the current set of tires arent too bad, but what do you guys recommend for replacement? Should I get something a little wider for instance?
We thought about the body kit and have decided against it for now.
But we are now looking at a plug and play NavTv unit that would let us play DVD's on the Nav unit and have the Nav run in the background.. maybe add a lcd monitor or two as well.
I am shying away from new wheels and such at this time as well. I am willing to put some money into the car but not too much.. it is such a great car as is...
Thanks for the welcome.
