Hella Trumpet Horns

I have a set of these that I'll be installing soon, but the instructions are a bit vague that come with the set. Can anyone give me some help who has installed them before ? I am unclear as to the wiring leading from the relay.

Thanks

I have them also, I threw out the relay that came with them and installed them straight up. Here's how I did mine.

positive on battery wired to positive on motor (+)

from Negative (-) on motor, wire through fire into one side of a momentary switch

from other side of momentary switch to a clean ground anywhere in the car.

I didn't use the switch it came with, I bought a small momentary switch from Radio Shack instead.

If you have a question, post on here, I'll check back in a while

On a scale of 1 to 10, 5 being the shock sensor install, how hard would you say it is to install these? I want to do it. Can you get them at autozone or do you have to order them?

I bought mine at a local store, they were like $20 or 25.... the shock sensor being a 5, this would be a 4.5 only because it's not easy to run the wire through the firewall, I had to snake a wire throught the fender and that wasn't that easy.

Thinman - Thanks for the reply, but they're different than what you're thinking of.

mbeebe - I ordered them from www.rallylights.com for 33 shipped.

Oohh, good idea......I would if I had room. I plan on building a tree fort up there, and the horns just wouldnt look right. Some might say it would be RICE.
