TLcraze,

I think I know what you are talking about. I had a complaint the other day whey my girl was in the car. She said that the heat was plenty warm enough when it was on but the thing was that only the bottom part was getting warm. The lower back was not getting warm at all, unlike the driver side where both parts are heated.
I thought it was just made that way for the passenger side, but now I'm thinking that there may be something wrong. Was your problem like this or was it not getting warm enough???

I had the same problem! With drivers butt area and passengers back area. To it in to Acura and they replaced two heat warmers. Works fine now!

Here's the FACT: Your TL comes with driver's side heat on back and bottom. Your TL comes with passenger's side heat on bottom only. This is not a defect. The passenger simply gets no heat on the back. Sorry.

So I'm not the only one that their girl is complainting about the lower back not being warm @ all comparing to the drivers side. Even sometime the bottom is the same too!

Do you know that if you leave the seat heater on high, it'll reach the highest point and turn off then heat up again after a while but if you leave it on low it'll always be on........and the passenger seat doesn't have a back heater(bottom only).

The passenger side seat back does not have a heater because of the side airbag sensor up in there. I'm sure my CL-S is the same as the TL.

Correct......but the 1999 TL actually does have a passanger back warmer....but no side airbags. Therefore, 2000+ TL's have no passanger back warmer.

My seat heater is fine. Actually my ass gets burn sometimes.

My wife hasn't complain about it on the passenger side so I figured that it is working fine. But I will sit on it and test it out for myself and will let you know.

Post Heated Seats are not warm enough

Anyone having problem with their heated seats (Passenger side)? It's never warm enough even when I turn it to high. I bought it back to Acura and they took the whole seat out and supposely replaced some parts. But, still having the same problem. Anyone experiencing this delima...please advise!!!!

Hmmm, there has to be something wrong or you have an frozen ass... Are both seats like that? Mine gets so hot it...actually, I'll spare you the details.

But have them check again, if you have another dealer in your area check it

It never gets cold enough in LA so I guess I will never find out.

Mine seem to work fine. I've never used the heater in the passenger side, i should go try it. I have a '99 so I guess I should have butt and back heaters!

Cool

I never told my gf that my back got warm - so she doesn't know the difference.
