Does the heater seat on the passenger heat the back too or does it just heat the seat cushions? My driver side heats both the back and the seat cushion but the passenger just heats the seat cushion. Justw anted to see if its designed that way or if I should take it in to the dealer. Thanks..

 

The passenger side heater only heats the bottom of the seat, not the seatback. Apparently there was no room for a seatback heater and the occupant position sensors for the passenger's seat-mounted side airbag.

99 TLs heat the back of the passenger seat. Guess since we don't have side airbags.
