thats one hell of a great DIY. I just realized I'm definitely too lazy to attempt to do this in the winter or during school, maybe in the summer i'll man up and try it! props again, one of the best DIY's i've ever come across

Wow, I uploaded this video to youtube a couple days ago and you guys already found it! I was going to post it here but Sneaky Green beat me to the punch.
The whole process takes about 3 hours or so. I am not a tech so only do this repair at your own risk. I don't know what gauge the wire is, but it is pretty light. I just used a wire that looked similar in size to the original. The process is probably the exact same for the passenger side. I've never replaced the seatback element, but you probably will have to take the seat out.

I wish I had seen this video before I did my seat. A couple hints on this DIY. Don't try to connect the blue connector to the blue connector on the side of the seat when you put it back together. You can see from the video he removes the gray connector from the blue connector. When you connect blue to blue the seat won't move, but at least it didn't blow any fuses! Also when I lifted my seat, I grabbed and pulled the steel cable loose from the seat motors up under the front of the seat. Don't pull on that cable it will keep your seat from moving also. I got it all fixed now! Nice warm seat and 17 degrees outside!
