Heat - too hot?

Anyone have problems with their heat being too hot? In my wife's '02 3.2 TL, if we set the heat any higher than 65 degrees - we are cooking! Is there a way to calibrate these things or has it always been this way (I do not drive her car much)

Just curious if I need to get it fixed before warranty goes out.
Thanks.

Get it fixed. Something's wrong with your automatic climate control.

If I remember info from the Owner's Manual correctly, if you set the temp real low (65 degrees?), the AC runs all the time. Set it real high (can't remember the temp) the heat runs all the time.

I believe that's at the extreme ends, 60 for A/C and 90 for heat.

I also live in NJ, and i usually have to set it to around 68-69. I usually put it to 75 first though, so it will warm the cabin a little faster. After that I have to turn it down below 70 otherwise it gets too hot.

what the.. mine is nice and cozy just at 72... and it gets to that temp pretty fast when i leave it on full auto. i love the auto climate feature, leave it on a prefered temp, pop the other knob into full auto mode, and just drive around.

I have mine full blast at 90 degrees in the winter and I'm normally wearing a coat and sweater. I must have climate control problems of my own....

Seriously though, about your TL, I think you might have a potential problem and should get it looked at.
