How many heat shields do we have on our cars, i have been getting this really annoying rattle that makes the car sound like a cluncker!
Is the only heat shield we have above the cataletic converter? Do we have any in the motor compartment?

 

there is a heat sheild on each manifold. Then there is one on the cat itself, and above it. There are also shields along the back .

 

Fred has headers so he doesn't have the manifold heat shields.

 

He asked how many we had. not how many HE had

 

thanx boyz, is there any harm in removing the one above the cat, the rattling is driving me crazy!!
