heat seat element
i went to the dealer to complain about my heat seat element on the passenger seat, i've had a lot of people tell me that it doesn't even get hot, and sure enough it wasn't working, so the dealer ordered me one and i'm waiting on it to come in, so they can replace it!!
anybody else have this problem?

I had my seat heater element replaced on the drivers seat bottom in November. They also had to order the part it had worked fine since I had the car 2yrs. The new element has heated very well.

Just remember that on the '00 and up TLs (Side airbag equipped), the passenger seatback does not heat up, only the bottom. According to Acura, it was because of the sensor that shuts off the side airbag if you have a child in the seat or if someone is obstructing the path of the airbag.

My driver's side seat bottom heater quit. Instead of replacing the heater, I just soldered/heat shrunk the heater wire together where the break/burned out wire was. Has been working great for several weeks now.

Mine stopped working on the drivers side on the seat bottom part. I wonder if it is the same thing as you guys and is just a wire that burnt out or got pinched. Is it easy to see this wire without removing the seat?
