I have a 2003 acura tl-s, I can always hear some noise TWICE somewhere under the hood in front of driver's side. It sounds like motor moving, each lasts about 0.3 seconds.

This only happens when the I first start the engine and drive the car from a dead stop.

It's still under warranty, should I go to the dealer and have my car checked?
Will they charge me any fees for inspection?

Any ideas?

Definitely take in for service

It is th ABS system and it is normal. It checks itself 2x, @5 & 15mph.

 

I hear the same noise. It only happens when I first drive it after being parked for a while. The first noise is when I first drive forward and the second noise is maybe like 5 or 10 seconds after that. Then nothing. I figured it was the ABS but not sure that I should have it looked at.

 

there absolutely nothing wrong with your car. the noise you hear is from the abs sensor going to work. you will hear 2 small noises when you first turn your car on to drive. as i recall, it happens under 10mph.
