Headlights up

Socal28 helped me tweek my headlights to point up higher and it really lights up the road better than tock. plus since we have diffusers, it looks more like blue xenon and does not blind oncoming traffic.

PS what do you guys think of my SIGNATURE?

your car is sweet. spoiler would be nice. honestly, i was sitting on the curb, eating lunch next to my car, hiding in the shade that the trunk was providing for me. i look up at the ass of my car and it just looked like a scene from a movie. i got my Nikon SLR from the car and shot it. then i scanned the print in and darkened it in Visoneer Paperport scanning software. that's all. but if the reality doesn't look good to begin with than no computer is going to save it.

thankx. i thrive on constructive feedback.

Thumbs up

I can see the sig pic just fine.. looks great!

But as far as the headlight adjustments.. how much more up is it?

I like the color of ours and the brightness is pretty good, but if that can be improved, I'm interested.. give some details..

I am not sure what year your TL is...but 99-01 TL has plastic diffuser installed inside the headlight for proper Xenon beam.... It's clear plastic right in front of the xenon bulb. 02 TL doesn't have diffuser.. So if you have 99-01 TL... the diffuser is already installed in your H/L......

Behind each headlight housings, there is a little adjusting mechanism sticking out. It has a 10mm head and teeth like gears. You can use a small philips screwdriver, stick it into the gears and turn the appropriate way to adjust up or down. Or you can also use a 10mm socket and rachet and turn it. The proper direction of turning is stamped on the plastic right above the headlight housing.
It's probably a good idea to set your lights up against a wall and mark the stock position, then change to your desire.
I actually don't advise raising your lights up, due to the fact that HID's are really bright already, but boba wanted to do his!
I actually lowered my lights on my S2000 just a tad.

Thanks, socal28

The reason why I want to adjust my headlights is because after dropping my ride, the headlights doesn't project as far as it would at stock height, so i just want to tweak it just a bit.
