2 nights ago - messed up my hood while doing it (bent up at the corners).
Also took them from the 2 acuras parked next to me.

Anyhow, in trying to get away in a hurry, I guess they left a bunch of the headlights behind. The cops took them and are going to try to sort out which headlights belong to which acura - is it possible for them to do this?

My neighbor just got a 2k3 TL-S and always parks in his driveway not, in his garage. I've been meaning to warn him about that.

I keep my 2k2 Maxima locked in my garage every night.

That is ridiculous. Fix the lights again, invest in a good hunting rifle, and stay up all night so that you can shoot the bastard dead in the ass when he tries to steal the lights again. That will kill all that bullshit.

Its not just mine, its the other Acuras too. They all got fixed and they all got stolen again (although the other were stolen again last weekend, when I was out of town with my car, but mine was stolen last night). They also took a new G35 coupe's lights.

Police dont seem to care really, they think that's the price people pay for owning HID lights.

Well, in West Orange, the part bordering Livingston.
Happens here like every couple of weeks it seems.

It's an apt bldg complex and my car is parked outdoors.
Thats the only place for me to park.
I can see my car clearly outside my window. I was up til about 1am last night and checked on it before I hit the sack.
Then this morning - gone!

What complex is this? I may know it. I live on the edge of Livingston/Verona/West Orange, right next to exit 6 off 280.

Have you tried parking against any available walls? The harder you make it for them, the less likely they are to steal them.

Although, now that I think about it, I saw a TL-S today with one light missing and one half out, and a few days ago I saw a TL that someone bent the fenders, but didn't get the lights. Guess they're starting up again as it wasn't that bad for awhile.

They cause so much damage to the car and the replacement lights are so expensive...and these bastards are selling the stolen lights for like 200-300 dollars....thats bullshit....i hae more respect for them if they stole my car....

 

thats what i said when i was hit (twice), when i came out to see i had holes instead of headlights, i said why couldnt they just take the whole car. i would of been happier!
