Headlights Stolen $5000

Headlights Stolen!

I got my 03 TL’S last month and now my headlights got stolen. The lights alone are$1700, then to replace the hood, fenders, bumper and paint and blend the car, total $5600 and it could happen again! I am thinking of getting non Xenon headlights to make my car less prone to being robed, any suggestions?

Dude! That would be a major devalue of the car! The Xenon by far is one of the nicest feature. Get a garage!

It probably won't make a difference. As far as what the thieves know, they think your car has HID for sure....it's standard on all TL's.

They won't know you swapped your HID bulbs to halogens. You can see the bulb from the outside if you look close but I doub't a POS will even think of it before he rips your lights off.

At the least get a shock sensor installed to your stock alarm. I would get a good aftermarket alarm system, but adding the shock sensor is a mandatory item if you are leaving it up to the stock alarm.

Sorry to hear about your lights....where did it happen?

What is it with that section of NJ. The home office of the company that I work for is located in Parsippany, and I refuse to overnight down there for fear of having myheadlights plucked out of a hotel parking lot while I am sleeping.

Can't they do something about these thieves??
The cops should pull over all civics and accords with TL lights.

TUGG GONG is right, those thiefe won't know if you have halogens, they just assume you have HID bcuz it is standard for TL, so just get a alarm even better garage.
