headlight question..

was changing my hid this weekend and i broke the metal latch that holds it in place..now my bulb is just 'sitting' in the housing. I called acura to see if they sell just that latch and the guy said no. it comes with the headlight lens not alone..

He did not lie!!!
you can go to an auto recycler/junkyard and ask for one
as far as I know- same clip fits many cars

If you broke it then yes keep searching. What happened to me was that the plastic part holding the metal latch broke so what I did was take a screw and a washer and put the latch in between and tightened so it would hold the bulb in place. It was the driver side in case you are wondering.

ck beyond the TL into other brands as well-- a latch may be a latch when it comes to these type lights
