Headlight busted...out of warranty...need new D2R BULBS...HELP!

So I finally tracked down the reason why my HID bulbs keeps blowing out every year..."they" (whoever they may be) forgot to put the rubber seals back on the headlight housing...so whenever it rains REAL hard and I have my bulbs on BAM! instant blowout. So now I have 55k miles and the dealer is refusing to cover it under warranty. So now I ask advice from all of you guys.

Money is REAL tight, so I must use a credit card. What are my options? How much more is it for a pair of 6000k bulbs? If not, I was thinking of ordering all my parts from acuraautomotiveparts.org

stock bulbs are $160 from the dealer, you can find 6000K's for about $240 shipped on eBay

I like the lumens on that 5200 bulb, that could be a good replacement for the stock bulb.

or factory bulb is 4200. any thing more than that and you loose light output. a 4200 is brighter than a 7000, the higher the # the bluer, and eventually purpler it will be

I can hook you up with philips 6000K for 230 or I can sell my stock osram 4300K for 150.

Buy osram or philips. My opinion. If you want greatest light output stay stock 4300k or 4200k. Else if you want the cool blue/purple effect move up on the ranks(5000k-6000k). Anything beyond 6000k is just ridiculous.
