Question Headers, intake and fuel pressure regulator?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but with headers and an intake, would adding a fuel pressure regulator (like the one that comptech sells) with proper tunning, could more Horsepower be attained? With an increase in air flow that the low restriction intake and exhaust give you would more fuel be beneficial as well?

Just add teh Cold Air Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Pullies, Larger piping.....

No need to mess with the fuel pressure regulator. Its just gonna cause problems. I dont think anyone on this board has tampered or replaced their stock fpr.

If you want more hp than that, go with single exhaust. And if youre really desperate go 50 shot wet all day...

Yeah it seems that maybe it would be more trouble than it's worth. Besides the fuel pressure regulator you'd probably also need a higher capacity fuel pump.

I don't think these mods are beyond the abilities of the stock equipment. You will get some fine tuning of the A/F ratio with the V-AFC. These mentioned mods don't require an increase in fuel pressure or volume like the S/C requires.
