i went to acura dealer today and they gave a woopin $280~!!! for installing header.
how much did you guyz paid for the header???

 

your acura dealer is a rip shop. Comptech themselves charge 240.

 

so how much is reasonable?? under $200??

 

oh one more thing...do i have to or better get a new "header to engine" gasket from dealer? cuz that's what my dealer told me to get before the installation.

 

$103.50 at "Acura of Pasadena" (Los Angeles) for installation. It's better to change gaskets too.

I'm sure i'm not payin $280 for just installation. i dont feel like goin to local performance shop, cuz if they screw up something i have to deal w/ some troubles.

A reputable import shop in Houston, quoted me approximately $200 to install the comptech headers.

No, I just found out that Comptech will be shipping them out tomorrow. However, I got a local performance shop to install them on Saturday. I hope they show up by then. They're charging me like $100 to install them. Call them up. They're called Vertex Motorsport in McLean, VA. Ask for Steven, the owner and tell him Alex with the TL referred you! Good Luck!
