Most dealers (any brand) will offer a service to clear them up. Usually it's less than $100. They use buffing compounds to polish out the haze and small dings. I hear it can actually remove yellowing if you have that problem with them as well.

is the hazing on the outside? if so get some good polish and polish them up, let it dry for a while(1hr) then buff it off really good and you'll be surprised how much better they look. I do this to my headlights(99 TL original headlights) and they look clean as hell.

Yeah, but how much would they charge for a service like that. This is actually something you can do yourself and it works wonders. My dads an aircraft mechanic and at work they got these kits for removing that haze that some older headlights develop over time. Its kinda of like sanding the outside headlight housing to remove it. Not literally sanding it down but its somethin like that. He can get these kits for free. Maybe i could get ya one and you just pay me a couple bucks plus shipping for it, unless you know of a shop that sells something for that problem.

why dont you go to autozone or walmart and pick up a mothers power ball and some polish and give it a whirl yourself, only $25 for everything and plus your time.

Ahh wise one...you beat me to the punch. I actually did this to my '02 TL and it came out pretty good. Got rid of all the scratches and scuff marks. Definitely recommend doing it if your headlights are in bad shape.

Would somthing like this be under warranty? or is this "wear and tear"?

Probably not covered under warranty. To me it seems like it would be the same as asking the dealer to give you new tires because you've driven on these for 30K miles and the tread is wearing down. It doesn't really seem like a defect...just something that happens over time. Just my

I did this on my buddy's 10 year old es300 and the lights went from opaque and yellow to nearly brand new looking. Dont waste your money on new lights.
