I hate to ask a question that has been beaten to death already, but I have searched this subject and most of the threads have gone off on tangents. Anyway, to make a long story really short, my TL-S is going into the body shop tomorrow for a new front bumper.

I need some advice.
Should I have them take out the intake resonator while they have the bumper off?
Seriously, are there ANY negatives to doing this?
Are the only improvements sound & maybe 1 or 2 HP?
Can this mess up ANYTHING? I have already installed a K&N filter.

I did this on my '93 5.0, and there was a pretty big difference in both sound and responsiveness and I am very happy with the results.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
