I get to drive my wife's '02TLS to work on Friday's...she's so kind. Anyway, the ever so dreaded 2-3 shift slip thingy started happening to me. I asked her about it, and she said she noticed it a couple of days ago. Looks like I'll have to keep her out of it till it completely goes. This is just plain silly...only 30k miles on the car.

If it makes you feel any better, my tranny went out at 17k miles.

 

bought by car at 67k tranny replaced at 69k
going in on monday to acura for 2nd tranny 80k miles
only 11k miles!!!! in 10 months!
and its a fuking 99!!! i thought they had less probs

 

Can someone tell me how that 2nd-3rd shift is suppose to feel like. Are you sport shifting or just on "5". Thanks for any insight.

 

try tp find an open road with no cars around..and floor it...it will shfit into N, u will feel nothing but engine rev up and slam back to 3 gears.
