Has anyone noticed that.....

Has anyone noticed that there have been plenty of posts about transmission troubles but other than that I've yet to hear of any member having one single engine related failure. Not one valve, camshalf, nothing. No leaks or any other mechanical troubles of any kind. Are they that good? I think so, and I'm glad I own one.

I have no doubt that Honda has some 3.2 liter engine complaints, but I would bet the percentage of problem engines is minimal. Honda's biggest reputation is for its product reliability and endurance, and it appears that reputation is well-deserved.
I have no complaints with mine!

that's true, I can't remember reading 1 post since I joined about someone blowing an engine or having their engine replaced.

Since I've been living on this fine board. I've seen two engine change outs. Both from bad block castings. Mine was on the back along a oil supply casting near the head, the another was on a CL.

Make that a 3rd engine. I thought my car was the only one with a bad short block casting. Acura replaced it with the right one.

I want to get the 03 TL-S. Does any one seen what it looks like yet?

As everyone knows, Hondas forte is their engines. Thats why GM is buying them from Honda.

I have to say that I would rate the engine in the top 5 of sweet sounds it makes. Best part of the car!

Hope you don't mind me posting.

I also noted the replacement times for guys who had to replace their tranny's has been alot longer than my whole engine block replacement took.
