Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

I was driving to work and then all of a sudden the display that has the odometer and outside temperature goes off. Then about 10-15 seconds later it came back on. It went off and on till I got to work. What is wrong with my car?

I'm having that problem too. Maybe will have the battery checked? I did a search and haven't found anything about it. Am considering taking apart my dash and checking the connectors . . .

Does anyone have any input to this issue? I have the same issue with my odometer and SS gear indicator light being very dim. it actually is on but very dim. checked dim switch, everything else will dim but that does not change. You cannot see it at all at night though.

if it is your battery, dont use any of the appications in your car (nav, radio, etc.) for about a week and then see if there has been any improvement.

I havent heard of slow battery deaths, the only ones on our car is just bam and the battery is gone.

i had this issue and it wasn't the battery. it was the circuit board inside the cluster itself. if i remember correctly it cost around 60 or so for the board. i replaced it myself and was relatively easy.
