Hardwiring Radar Detector

Im hardwiring my radar detect but I'm having a problem running the cord through the top vent. Does anyone know how I can do it. Are there any opening in the plastic tubing that I can fit the wire through.

my valentine is hard wired up by the rear view... i like it a lot better up there, now no objects in the way, and can see and hear it better. and its mroe sensetive up there

i wired it from the drivers fuse panel up the A pillar, between the headliner and the windshield, and is held in place by a small strip of black felt. worked great, hasent moved in the 6 months its been up there.

I believe they are legal in CA. The only places they're not are Canada, Mass., D.C. and Virginia.

Radar Dectectors are only illegal in VA and Canada, totally legal in MA & DC.

Every consider getting a battery opperated (wireless) radar dectector? BEL makes a great one.
