Hard to track down front end clicks

I got noise or a muted clicks / creaking sound when the front end is compressed from braking and accelerating. I can kinda feel it through the pedal and steering wheel. It lessens after a heavy rain. Ball joints and end links have been replaced. Everything seems tight under there. It's been into a few shops and they can't make light of the situation. I also believe the car has an issue with holding an alignment and always seems to work its way to having the wheel drift left shortly after being aligned.

I checked out the car today. Control arms were tight...no play and bushings looked fine.

The last two days I've been hearing a buzzsaw metal on metal sound when i first turn the engine on and when accelerating around 2000rpm when the engine has a load on it.

I changed the oil yesterday and found a stray bolt around the oil filter area.
The engine doesn't move much when revved so motor mounts seem good. I'm starting to think its the tranny mounts since then trans has been in and out of the car a couple of times. Is there a was to test the tranny mount? Everything quiet when shifting. The suspension noise happens the braking and accelerating.

I just found the source of my front end clunk/clack.
Turns out the front swaybar center bushings were worn enough to let the bar tap the metal holders. By hand the bar moved smooth with no real play but under driving load/twisting it was enough to cause a noise. New bushings and the car is as tight and quiet as new.

Mine does this and its the upper control arm bushings. You can't tell with the knuckle attached, but with it unhooked you can get the play in it.

the dreaded unresolved clunk in the front..makes the passenger feels like the cars about to drop.. -_- ... while having the car..ive changed shocks, sway bar bushings, rotors, pads, upper control arm, lower control arm, all four front ball joints, and the noise is still around.. 3 yrs in the making.. ive had the noise for about 2yrs now... onto sway bar end links and strut bushings(cant remember if i changed them)... things seem tight but are in disguise... hate that..

All good leads guys. I checked out all those things and none were the culprit.

I finally brought it down to the shop as a last attempt. After 3 hours they found that the radius rod wasn't tightened after the tranny was replaced and the ABS pump also wasn't secured back into place. Front end feels nice and tight now. All that remains is this buzzing metal sound around 1800 rpm. I'm going to take a look at the CAI tomorrow as it might be rubbing somewhere.

They said the Front engine mount is bad too as the vac line wasn't reconnected after the tranny job. I'll get around to fixing that down the road.

lol, that reminds me of when I had my clutch replaced in my CL, the tech forgot to properly torque the flange bolts on the front beam. That resulted in a subtle clunking that I eventually found/fixed myself.

I have a set of ES radius rod bushings that will arrive tomorrow and will install soon after. I'm hoping that this will correct a creaking sound that I get when cruising between 35-45mph.
