Is it hard to replace the alternator on a 2001 Acura TL?

That's the pulley you gotta move out of the way, shown in the screenshots of the manual I posted.
Not sure if it's just the angle, or slight differences between the '99 and the '01, but your alternator seems to be sitting a good few inches lower than mine does, which explains the difficulty you had in getting a wrench there. If anyone else can chime in, is that normal in the later 2nd-gen models? I looked at mine today after reading this thread and it's definitely easier to get to in my engine bay.
If it's not my eyes playing tricks on me, OP your engine is sitting lower than it should. Now I'm just guessing, but might that be a bad motor mount? If so, you could've probably gotten better access to the alternator by loosening to passenger-side motor mount and then using a 2x4 on a floorjack to lift the engine up a bit.

The Car is Currently on Jack Stands and the Alternator is just there UNBOLTED & UNCONNECTED I JUST CANNOT GET IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe that is why it looks low Don't even say that about a bad motor mount.
Yeah my Mechanic Is gonna charge me $225 to remove and install the new Alternator and New Serpentine Pulley Tensioner I have very very little patience and i guess Mental illness to fuck with these Post 1980-Cars that have everything packed in so so tight (AS MENTIONED GERMAN,JAP,AMERICAN THEY ALL DO IT SOME WORSE THAN OTHERS) But i gotta order the that part that is Circled in Red because i Damaged it with a Prybar/Floor Jack bar i was leveraging to take off a Alternator Nut/Bolt Anybody know what the proper term is for that part or even better the part number? I guess i could just buy the Tensioner pulley without the Tensioner Bracket or no?

Hey TL88, is there a reason your posts are coming out in all bold? Usually bold font is used to draw attention to important points within a body of text, but making the whole body bold defeats that purpose...it's one of those email/text etiquette things that falls in line with not typing in all caps.
Aside from that, have you checked out YouTube for any help? I was able to find a couple videos for 2G and 3G TL alternator replacements; they all suggest the same thing: disconnect battery, remove belts, remove the passenger side A/C condenser fan assembly, remove the alternator mounting bolts and remove from above.
Hope that helps...

Yeah bold definitely sticks out and is easier to read. Yeah just waiting for the Serpentine Belt and Pulley Tensioner then getting it towed to a Mechanic to do this shit.

Wish I was in the neighborhood so I could help you out. Maybe drain and remove the radiator since you're waiting for parts before tow and planned on doing flush anyways. Possibly try to move power steering reservoir to left side of engine as well? I got faith you can do it and save hundreds

come on man...are you really 32? not meaning to sound personal, but I am 41, do it yourself, save a ton of money and have more money for fun when things open back up. ;-)
you can do it!
PLUS...you can guarantee the job will be done well, as opposed to flat rate work which is very quick and dirty.
the hardest part for me would be not wanting to scrub everything with degreaser while I am in there. lol

The way I see it, those brushes get to go out doing what they love best! A good proper cleaning, digging deep into nooks and crannies to get all the filth out. A fitting end to a good life spent brushing teeth, if i say so myself.
