My Jeep was whacked by a freak hailstorm two years with the same tiny dipples all over the body. Insurance covered the entire repair, minus the deductible. When the body shop was done, the Jeep looked brand new :-)

Good grief... I had hail damage to my (traded in) 97 Accord while it was in the dealer's lot. My insurance company gave me about $75-$150 per body panel damaged. The damage was kind of light though.

It's not a difficult reapir, usually jsut sanding and repainting, but it can be bear because they have to remove all the trim, which can be very time consuming.

Dayum, that sux big time. Sorry to hear that.

But it hails in Texas?? Interesting... With all the news about flooding, I'd expected members from Texas getting flood damage.. but hail damage?? I wasn't expecting that!

"Paintless dent repair" can fix it without sanding and repainting.

Call Dent Blasters in Houston. 281-588-DENT.

They are the people that do Acura dealerships here, and they are nice, and i negotiated. Family biz, Paintless dent repair, and they have done numerous hail damaged cars. When i was getting my work done last week, they were doing a hail damaged car, i think it had about 800 dents.

located at 6608 W. 1960. Hope it works out man. I do remember on my prelude, i was caught in a serious hail storm, and the Honda dealer charged me 1400. I should not have gone their cuz they repainted it. i would try to avoid repaint at all costs. If i were you, i'd go to an expensive place, maybe dealer, get a quote, take it to insurance, then go to Dent Blasters and pocket the difference. I had comprehensive ins. on my prelude, and i paid just deductible.
