Had some stuff done at the dealer, details inside

So they took my driver seat apart, and applied some squeak resistant tape where the rod and the cross bar meet. Squeak is still there, but not as noticeable.

They replaced the garbage tape that North toronto acura applied to the roof, and added lubricant to the sunroof tracks so it's much more smooth while opening and closing.

I have to go back next week for them to investigate the idling problem. I didn't have enough time for them today, as they want to replace the spark plugs, idling air valve, idling valve which sucks in air, and the engine mounts.

Hopefully everything gets resolved, and at that time, I'm having the seat fixed again. This time they are going to apply more tape.

hope that fixes the problem.

Take care.

I bought the same from North Toronto - in your posting it sounds like you are having service issues with NTA - how many km's and how's the tranny?

trannies fine (knock on wood), but yah I think North Toronto Acura is the biggest waste of time. They either don't find the problem, or find the problem and claim there's nothing wrong with your car.

f*ck them all!!!

That's too bad, I liked the sales guy and was drawn to NTA because of the service bay hours. Granted, I only have 1,500km so I have not been into service yet. My tranny feels a tad rough - maybe I've read too many horror stories here and I'm just looking for something to go wrong. Oh yeah, how long did you wait for your jacket?

North Toronto Acura - Yonge & Steeles
How do you like the winter tires? I'm thinking of getting a set and have never bought them before (never had a car worth buying the for).

about 5.5 months. Don't expect the jacket anytime soon. My tranny must be one of the one's without a problem (knock on wood). It's been running well for 16 000km, and trust me, I'm not the smoothest driver, quite often I gunn it off the line.
