H&R Springs... OE vs. Sports

I just wanted to ask everyone which springs they prefer?

I will be getting the OE front and side kit with the WW Rear soon. Springs are going to come next... Which springs are better?

I heard overtime the Sports Springs 1.50inch/1.75inch will drop even further... Will I still be able to see and notice the difference if I get the OE Springs...

If ayone has pictures of their TLS with OE springs... Could you please list those pics...

THANX>>>>

When I do lower my car (not likely though) I'd choose the OEs. Advertised drops are for the accords. It is expected for us to have a larger drop (esp after settling) since the TL/CL is heavier.

Here is Paul's(Songoku) car with H&R OE's.

The pic below of my car has OE's just up in the front. My driveway prevents me from dropping any further but I "HAD" to reduce the front wheel gap. Since OE's are only 10-15% (I believe....it's listed on H&R's site) stiffer, I really don't feel any negative handling characteristics

I see you changed your mind about the sports springs... So I guess people prefer the OE springs... Thats what I thought.

Actually more people prefer the sport springs. I think the problem is that this topic has been bashed around soooo many times, you're not getting a huge response to your thread.

The OEs drop the TL about .50" to .75". It's a very slight/subtle drop. It is the drop I prefer. Hopefully I'll get my springs soon.

i chose the sports drop and was very happy with it! it lowers just the right amount, but doesnt safcrifice much ride comfort if any. makes the wheel gap look reallie nice!

Agreed! I love the drop on Sports. It's perfect....well...until you start packing a carload of people...then it sags like CRAZY in the rear. Looks like a lowrider :p

I think it depends on where you live. If you live in cali like most of the people that have the "Sports" drop then you should be fine. But for someone like me who lives in NY and I travel to RI, and Boston alot the roads out there arent pretty good so I think the "OE" springs would be much better, but to each his own.

I myself live in NY and I guess I need the OE Springs... The question is what brand and when do I have to get shocks? Can I just use the H&R Springs with stock shocks?

get some adjustable aftermarket shocks then u should be fine w/ sport springs
the reason why they sag is over time the stock shocks will just die and won't have the stiffness it had before

What size tires are you running? I have 225's on my Accord v6, and want to drop it.
